We are called One Point Center because this is first of the four basic principles of Aikido. Keeping One Point means that we focus our energy and intention at the very center of who we are. But we also have another name, a spiritual name for our dojo: Tokushinkan, which means the place of the virtuous and benevolent mind. It is our hope that those who practice with us do so in the spirit of cultivating their own sense of deepening integrity and kindness for self, for others, and for the world.
